A Letter of Thanks to Irene and You All, Who Support Me As Always!

May 1st, 2007 was the day when my best and sweetest Filipino friend, Irene, as well as my previous colleague, came to visit me on campus and told me something unbelievable that she was starting to make some money online. I asked her in doubt and with great interest how she could make some money online. She showed me the greatest site-- Mylot-- by sending me an invitation to my email address. I had her help and guide me at the initial stage of creating a Mylot account. As I was slow in learning new things and it took me quite some time to figure out how to well use the forum that interests me so much. My spare life has been greatly changed ever since, which is more meaningful to me.
Today is the anniversary of my being a resident here at Mylot and I am very happy to say that I am very proud of being one of the members here. I still remember that it was about more than 8000 mylotters here when I joined this site. Right now it is 127,768 members. I am very pleased to see that we are having more and more mylotters here and I am very delighted for having all of you as my friends, participating in different discussions for us to get to know more of each other, to know more of the different cultures, customs and such.
On this special date of the first of May, 2008, I extend my greatest and warmest THANKS to not only my best friend IRENE for her leading me to Mylot--my favorite forum, and all of you, my good friends, old and new, with a sincere heart. Of course, I won't forget to say "Thank you, Mylot" as well, because you have made my life more colorful and meaningful. I love this community as always.

Hi dear jisir, it’s great to celebrate your anniversary of being a sincere mylotter here. I’m really glad to see a keen mylot user who has finally found his favorite site which makes his life colorful and meaningful.
I’m rather impressed that you had purposely created this topic to thank Irene, the person who first introduced you to mylot which has changed your life significantly. Yeah, at first we might be attracted by the idea of earning some small money. Later we will realize we have lots more to enjoy in this huge lovely community.
Life is such, sometimes we wouldn’t be able to know what would turn up next or eventually. It’s true for the saying, Flower when purposely cultivated might not be blooming whereas a willow cutting simply inserted, might be flourishing into a shady tree.

In fact, Irene, my previous colleague as well as my good friend is now working in her own country now and she is busy with her online teaching work and does not have much time mylotting, but we still keep in touch with each other for maintaining our friendship. Today it is May 4th, 09, two years long since May 1st, 07. Yeah, I am very happy to see my avatar on the first page and I am also glad that you will reach six thousand soon with only twenty one posts to go to reach six thousand. Hello dear mimpi. I am so glad to read your nice comment and I am very happy to know that you completed one year in December last year and are still active like most mylotters here. To be honest with you, there were only about three more hours in my place before May 1st was going to move the second of May, when I thought of posting this discussion to celebrate my first anniversary being at Mylot and my own experience at Mylot. hi william! wow. so is this your anniversary month! congratulations to you! you've made it here for a year! i just recently turned one here last February. this is really great site. and i'm surprised that a Filipino recommended you this site! i mean, i wouldn't have been surprised if another Indian told you about this site. ^__^;; anyway, is Irene still active here in myLot? i asked because the one who referred me here is not as active as she was before. well, its not because she lost the interest but because she's busy with her work. i wonder how much she is earning through me?

Hello dear secretbear. So you also had your one-year anniversary here at mylot. Congratulations,friend. Well,this friend of mine is now back to her own country,teaching students from Korea and she is very busy with her work. It is not convenient for her to use the Internet back home as she used to in China. I am so sorry for her not being unable to have Internet access at her end. Till now, she has not read this open letter of thanks to her yet because she has not responded this discussion till now. I am sure that some day she will find it and will be here to pay a visit.. What a very sweet thing to read, I really enjoyed reading this. There are one or two of you that have been here a while and I like that, it is nice to see that there are people that do not just stay a while and then get fed up, it is people that stay for the long term that keep sites like this going.
I hope that I can stick around as long as you and the others that have kept this place going for so long because it is the best site that I have ever come across and I enjoy it such a lot.

Love to hear and feel proud your best friend, Irene, is a filipina. For sure, she's so happy and proud as well reading your post and seeing her bestfriend, an outstanding mylotter. I'm happy for you william for appreciating and loving mylot community and the wonderful mylotters as well. I do share the same feelings though am not as successful as you at mylot. What's important is we enjoy getting along with one another through our responses and participation in each other's discussions. This really add color and meaning to our lives. I see, my warm hello to Irene and am thanking her for being the reason of having you (a wondeerful mylotter) at mylot. My daughter have offers too for a teaching job there at China, maybe if one day she decide to work there, I'll be more comfortable giving my approval, after knowing you. You have correctly put it williamjisir. Mylot is not only paying promptly but it is giving us good friends and well wishers here. Though we do not see each other in person, still the warmth of friendship is there. We pray for each other, we have concern for each other. That is more than enough for our happiness. We learn so many new things here. Confidently I can say that my thinking and writing skills have been fine tuned and increased. Even my sister is enjoying her mylot stay and after my introducing her to Mylot, she left the other sites and is fully devoting her time to Mylot. She says she is enjoying a lot. For this we all should give a thanks giving party to Mylot and it's staff especially to the person who has brought out the idea of Mylot. We should also thank our co-members of Mylot who are giving this happiness to each other by way of discussions on different topics and responding to our discussions and giving a meaning to it.

I like the idea you put here that we should give a thanksgiving party to mylot as it has provided a wonderful stage for us mylotters to undderstand and communicate with each other by way of friendly discussions. wow, one of the best posts I have come across here. People share their joys on various anniversaries and birthdays (we are after all like a friend) but this is the first time I have come across somebody sharing his joy on completing one year at mylot.
