Memorable Discussions...

There are literally thousands of discussions here on MyLot. Basically everything and anything you ever want to know and ppl add more every day. Sometimes we have that one special discussion that sticks in our mind. The one that is the most bizarre you’ve ever read. You really can’t believe someone would really post something like that.
Mine is one that was posted a few months ago by a male member who wrote about sleeping with his mom (or maybe stepmom). He talked about how it happened several times and he wanted to know if it was wrong!?! I read it…and the responses…and then just sat there thinking, “If you have to ask…then you probably already know the answer”. That discussion stuck in my head b/c I couldn’t believe that someone would come to MyLot of all places (not a teacher, another adult, a grandparent) to ask something like that and then to ask it so nonchalantly like they were asking why jaywalking is wrong.
The funniest one I’ve seen had to be the one in which P1kef1sh was convinced to wear a bra. He did it though but it was funny to be part of the discussion and see everyone else pushing him on.
BTW, the pic attached is one I found on the net. I thought it was unusual enough to include...after all how often do you see such cute little kittens breastfeeding off a dog?
So, what is the most bizarre, funny, disturbing discussion you’ve come across? Did you respond to it?

When I first joined, there were quite a few discussions that went against the guidelines, such as "Coke or pepsi?" There were also several discussions where the poster said that his sister was pregnant, & he was the father. I'm sure those incest discussions were all lies solely to get responses.
It seems that I have seen probably EVERYTHING here, including some that bashed mylot, & got deleted. I've seen discussions that pretty much have gone out of hand & got deleted.
Some of the best ones were people complaining that they had this sone annoyingly playing in their head, & then I come up with a one-liner of "Sunshine on a cloudy day" & then oopsie - they end up with another song annoyingly playing in their heads.
Uh - oopsie - did I suddenly stick a song that's now annoyingly playing in your head?

Nope, I was listening to Schoolhouse Rock videos last night and have Conjunction Junction What's your function running through my mind.
I've seen alot of those coke or pepsi discussion also the what's your favorite color ones.

I haven't had any that are that memorable.
The one that sticks in my mind was when I said I was trying to get my son to stop biting and finally the only way he would stop was if I bit him back so he could seewhat it felt like. From that statement, I was called a child abuser!

Oh no, it wasn't a hard bite at all., It was just me putting his arm by my mouth acting like I would bite him and he got the point. This is no way child abuse.

the one posted a few days ago really got to me. It was a person asking what was the best way to kill himself. I don't know if the person was serious, or fooling around and I answered his post and reported it as well, as if this is a cry for help mylot has to take it seriously. Other than that I just can't remember anything that really stands out for me.

Can you imagine taking the time to respond to every single discussion? Wow! You'd be here for days on end and still miss a few! lol.
I've not been around much of late, so couldn't really say which discussions have left a mark on me. I'm sure I will come across some though. Everything I do respond to obviously has some interest to me, or I wouldn't respond.
Mylot, my other sanity saver! lol.

I can't think of any one that was particularly funny or one that was really odd as there are so many of them. You ask why the guy sleeping with the stepmom started a discussion about it, he knows it is wrong, but just wanted to be a smart a?? and see what people have to say about it. He just wanted to shock people and to be honest, I think he may be lying anyways. Some guys think it is moocho to be a pig. I read a lot of disuccions that don't make any sense at all and I can't respond because I don't know what the subject even was. I think those people are just posting discussions to make money.

twoey I vote for pikefish as that was so cute and so
funny and he had us all pushing him on. he is a love
and a person who keeps our spirits up when some trolls
are doing their nastiest bits here on mylots. He is also
a wonderful person to know and to listen to and his posts
are always quite charming. the most disturbing discussion
I came across was by some idiot who called himself lordthor
and dissed everyone who responded to his discussion about
us mylotters convincing him about God.It was a most disturbing
discussion because he seemed to have set it up just to
name call and flame anyone who responded in any way to it.

I don't remember the exact discussion, but I know that I got on here one day and was in a bad mood for some reason(can't remember), and I read this poem and it just kind of example every thing to me about the way I was feeling that day.

The ones that spring to my mind usually are the ones that are controversial and provoke lots of nasty comments or extremely heated debates. The first day I joined here there was a heated debate about a comment some racist had written, it was certainly strong stuff and gripping reading. The religious debates tend to attract some strong opinions also!

The silliest one I came across was a young woman complainingthat her boyfriendalways farted in front of her and I did
respond to that as I felt a fart was sort of a thing you
really did not have too much control over.I laughed myself
silly on that one and there was another asking whether you just crumpled your toilet tissue up when you went potty or folded it nice neat layers.lol i loved the pikefish one and wish he was back. I backed him up too. sorry he let this crap on mylot
push him away. the one that ticked me off was the creep who called us all horrid names in his discussin about showing him proof there was a God. good night twoey.

Hi Twoey68. The most bizzarre I am yet to come across was the same you mention with that young man. I was so shocked at how graphic and detailed he was about what took place between him and his aunt.

The poems wrote on mylot hold special meaning to me..To have someone to express their self through poem is magic...I read every poem I come across...I have seen many strange,funny and rude post...So many that catches my attention i can't think of them all to write them down..Mylot os life and has life in every post...I have learend a lot about the different souls who write here...I remember the one about our dear friend P1kef1sh!Now that is something I will never forget...He is so smart and funny...I loved his avatar in the bra..So stylish also...LOL
