My grandson is in kindergarten and he just turned 6 years old...
He knows the first 27 United States Presidents. He can say all their names and in order...
I have to admit...I can't do it myself...
Do you know all the United States President's names...in order?

That is great Feona. I couldn't name them myself. As I age I find that CRS is taking control of my mind that coupled with the blonde moments. I am sure that if I were to memorize them for a few days I could do it. But, who has the time for such trivial things? Kids are like sponges, they absorb information easily. My sponge needs a good wringing out.

Thank you. He really surprised me when I picked him up one day and he said all 27 of them..He does know George Bush is The President now and that George Sr. is his father..So he really knows 29 Presidents..
His 4 year old brother is saying them too!
You better wring out that sponge and start soaking up some knowledge..LOL

Feona1962,
for your grandson, only 6 years old already can say out the names of 27 United States Presidents in correct order. My nephew already at primary year two and he is 8 years old this year but sad to say he know non of the name of our Prime Minister of Malaysia.

That's awesome for such a young lad!
I'd be hard pressed to come up with 27 names period, much less in order.
That's one thing that wasn't stressed in my grade school. I don't think we ever memorized them, which is sad.

Thank you..I am so proud of him and he is so proud of himself..When I think of the President's, I think of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, J. F. Kennedy, and Ronald Reagan, and that is about it...I don't ever remember learning them this way in school..
Now they are learning their ABC's and the Presidents in Kindergarten...Wow!!

I'm with you on that, and I really dont think we had to memorize them either, especially not in order, or it could just be time has past and I forgot that timeperiod.

His 4 year old brother had to have the place mat with the Planets on it..
