Do you think the Government should issue a second stimulus check?

So the Government has just begun to issue the first batch of stimulus checks as of Monday, April 28th 2008. With the economy plumeting and gas prices rising, do you think they should be so kind as to issue another stimulus check?? Luckily for my family, my husband and I have great jobs, and don't risk being laid off, however I know that many americans are faced with the possibility of this on a daily basis. We plan on using our check on purchasing a new LCD tv while the remainder will go into our gas tanks, food expenses and so on. The only thing that truly scares me is that the cost of everything will just continue to rise and then burden we have already begun to feel will simply get worse. In my opinion, I think it would be mighty nice of the government to give us some more of our hard earned dollars back by way of a second stimulus check. A second check could provide just enough for some families who are on the brink of losing it all.. Leave a comment and let me know what you think! What are you going to use your check for and do you think they should issue a second check.

That would be so awesome. You have no idea how much that would help me. I'm still waiting on my first stimulus check and on my state refund check. I am hoping that nothing goes wrong and I get both of them. Now about this second stimulus check it would be really cool of them to send out a second one. I would use that to buy some clothes for next year for college and put some away for my books which cost a ton and for my starbucks and stuff.

It would be nice. I heard something on the radio about the possibility of a second stimuluos check. It was just a possibility though and I beleive they said something about them in November it would do the economy good to send them out right before Christmas! I am still looking forward to getting my guranteed check sometime in June though,
