My boyfriend had a sister who ended up dying of leukemia years ago due to the ineptitude of her doctors in diagnosing her problem over a two year period. He refuses since then to trust doctors, and he feels that even if there is something wrong with him he would rather let it kill him than go to those charlatans. I have a little more faith in the medical community but not much. However we suspect that the bf may have diabetes, because his feet are always numb, and he is always exhausted but cannot sleep well. I have begged him to go get a check up and find out whether or not he does, but then he looks at me like I am in league with the doctors. Diabetes is a controllable illness when caught early enough, if not caught early enough it is a killer. How do I get him to go to a doctor when he doesn't want to? Is there any homeopathic treatment that any of you know of for diabetes that we could try? If the symptoms abate then we would at least know that we were right. I am thinking about buying a home glucose meter and checking his blood sugar myself. But then I feel like I am enabling him to continue to ignore the problem.

please do get a glucometer and the strips and check his blood gluose level it its high you have to get him to a doctor or risk ruining his kidneys, his heart, his whole body. high would be over 120 this is not a game and he is theloser if he is diabetic and he is not treated. With diabetes you can control your blood sugar through diet and exercise and medicatins and live a long productive life.I was diagnosed in my fifties and here I am 81 and doing great. no homopathtic treatment exists. you need to use common sense.get his parents involved as I doubt that they would want their son to die of untreated diabetes. if it is high he is in danger so He must see his doctor or his parents doctor something must be done rightawasy. toohigh and untreated he will lapseinto a diabetic coma and probably die. What happened to his sister was a whole different thing. this is today and it is life enthreatening.
