The child or the men?

This is a classical question asked by many people, don't over think it!
Okay, so lets say that you are on a train, and there are 5 men on the railroad . So, in order to save those men you have to switch the railroad, but the other railroad has a little baby staying there.
Which do you save? The men or the baby?
Don't over think it, no superman abilities nor technology, time or etc questions!
Give arguments.

I save the child. The child has yet to begin his life and the men have already made it to adulthood. Women and children first ya know. Maybe I am wrong but I would rather the child be spared.
