I went through 7 pages of discussions that I hadnt marked a best response. It took me all day-dang nab it-LOL I'm thinking a week or two weeks? What do you do with discussions with no responses?

I've got a bumch of unanswered discussions, and a few unresolved with some responses that just don't meet my idea of best response. I figure I'll just keep a watch on them, and when something good comes across I'll mark it. But I'm not going to give a pity BR to someone who didn't answer my question, or disn't contribute to the discussion. I don't care if it has to sit there for a year or more. As for choosing...it really doesn't matter to me how long my discussion sits or how many responses I get. When the answer I've been looking for, or a response that really knocks my blocks off comes across, I'll mark it.

wow sounds a bit harsh. Is it possiable some discussions just dont have a good ending? Something to ponder. Not everyone is going to think the same as you do Maybe I'm too soft. Hugs.

I understand what you mean. I will have to check out your discussions when I get a few minutes. I work 2 jobs and I have many to take care of myself There are a few people I like playing tag with-it makes it fun, more than a job Have you tried getting people back on track like when you post say this is ok but it doesnt pertain to the discussion. Wouldnt it be nice to have the ability to delete some things? Peace and hugs

Oh no dear, I think you misinterpreted me. I don't think I'm being harsh. I've got like three discussions, filled with people talking way off the subject and no one coming close to the point, should I give a BR just because it sat there for a week? Or should I let it sit till someone comes along and answers my question or at least adds to the discussion? That's all I'm saying. There are many people here only for the money, and I'm not going to give the BR to them to boost their earnings, when they are just posting random thoughts where ever they please. Get what I'm saying? I've also asked some questions that had exactly what I was looking for within the first couple responses, no more discussion needed if my problem is solved, right? So I give them the BR, cuz they helped me solve my problem, or answered my question. Go check out some of my discussions and you'll see for yourself. I'm not a tuffy, I'm pretty light hearted. I just take communication a little more seriously than others, since I actually like to hold a conversation. Thanks for allowing me to ramble a bit:) peace and blessings~

I usually wait a week or so before I award a best response on my own discussions. Where there are discussions with no responses, they will sit there luring in the background, you cannot delete them.

2 weeks seems the norm so far. Thank you. Thats seems a shame for those discussions to collect dust.

I have a lot of discusstions with No Best Response chosen yet as well. Sometimes it is due to lack of time, and sometimes I have discussions with only a couple of answers and feel no one deserves this honor yet who has posted there. As to how to solve this one, I am not sure there is a solution. Just hope somehow maybe one of your friends finds one of these discussions and decides to respond to one of them? Not sure. But it does take awhile to go thru your discussions and choose a Best Response if you are behind like I am. I give some as I have time.

I seem to have a few good friends that follow me and I adore that. I wish I had time to do the same. All I do is work it seems. Not saying I'm here for myself-just a time issue. I'm thinking that the discussion with no answer perhaps it was the time of day that I posted it, or I put it in the wrong interest-so I'm thinking about reposting them in a differnt spot and time. It is time consuming going through past discussions-I'd rather do a few a day then sit all day and try to get them all done at once-LOL Thank you.

On some of my discussions I'm lucky if I have one page. I would hate to sort through 50 discussions with 4 pages-geez that sounds like alot of work-LOL

Well I was supposed to leave it a week and then I thought that by leaving it a week it would give everyone plenty of time to respond if they wanted, but I kind of slipped behind somehow and fell out of the routine that I was in and I have just never caught up. Now I seem to have unresolved discussions coming out of my ears!! I have been tackling a few over the last day or two but I still have loads to go, I do not really want to start any more discussions up until I have caught up a bit!!!

makes me wonder why no response to these discussions. I do know there is certain people at certains times of the day that will affect responses. During the day its women, at night its men, on weekends a mix.
