YES YES AND YES! Okay I would like to say, no I have no affiliation to this company (I don't work for them nor do I sell their products), but your old man (perhaps neighbor or close friend---you didn't say)...will love these few products! --JR Watkins Icy Blue Ointment --JR Watkins Red Liniment --JR Watkins Cream Liniment --JR Watkins Warming Analgesic Balm I believe their Red Liniment is the strongest. My grandma has arthritis and she absolutely LOVES the Red Liniment and she says it really helps her. Trust me, I think arthritis is very painful. My grandma says it's like nails/knives stabbing your hands...ouch, you know what I mean?! You can request a catalog (or order online) at www.watkinsonline.com Also their Leon Cream Lotion is the balm, Ophrah's "O" magazine gave it rave reviews and I absolutely love it. Like I said, I have NO affiliation with the company, and I'm sure you could find their products on eBay as well. Pablo

There are quite a few herbs you can use as well as supplements. Ginger is one of these, and Willow Bark another. It may help you to read this page, as some herbal remedies are not recommended to be taken over a considerable period of time. http://www.holistic-online.com/remedies/Arthritis/arth_OA_herbal_remedies.htm I hope you can find something in there which helps your friend. Brightest Blessings. xx

It might also be helpful to have a word with a herbalist... you can usually find one in a health supplement store. You're most welcome, my friend.
