After so many commercials I gave feline pine a try. I am not happy, first of all you need a special scoop or you wil be scooping out the poop and a good amount of litter, then the litter still stinks and final, the pellets become dust and my cats carry it everywhere. I think I will go back to Arm and Hammer.

I have never seen any commercials, I just bought it when I saw it on the shelf at the store. I have four indoor cats. I used to use the regular old clumping litter that was made out of who knows what, that either turned to cement when my cats peed in it or crumbled like wet sand when I went to scoop it. I am absolutely in love with Feline Pine. Sure you need to change the way you scoop, but as far as smell - I smell nothing compared to any previous litter I have tried, and dust and tracking I had before and I have now - oh well. The weight factor alone out weighs any decision to go back to regular. Four cats, five litter boxes, wet clay or wet feline pine? My garbage is a ways away from my house and my litter boxes are in the basement. I do so prefer the Feline Pine clumping litter!

my cats HATED that stuff. so much so,they went outside of the box rather than smell it.it seemed too strong even to me,i can imagine how much it offended them.

I know how you feel!!!!!! I have tried almost everything out there!!! I even tried some litter made out of wheat, that was a mistake. I used to use Arm and Hammer until I found out that company does animal testing. I am now using Fresh Step and it seems to work pretty good and keeps the odor down too. I have tried the low tracking ones but with hardwood floors no matter what I use I end up vacumming everyday. Hope this helps. You can see my two cats on my profile page, the grey one is Spike, he's 22 lbs and the black one is Spunky, she's lighter. :0) Serena
