How do you manage your housework?

I have read flylady's suggestions and have tried to make my own work schedule for the housework. I keep wanting to change things. Then I get tired and just want to do my own thing and do the work when I want to. Well, I have come to the conclusion that I have to make myself do this but cannot get a good cleaning routine going. I like to plan menus and grocery lists, clean the fridge, and laundry on Mondays. I go to the grocery and run errands on Tuesdays. By Friday, I need another laundry day and more housecleaning. What kind of schedule do you follow. I have a spiral notebook that I write everything down in for each day for my to do list. I need all the suggestions that you have so I can finally get this figured out. Thanks in Advance.

I tried to follow her plan; I still do the 15 minutes, but that's about it! I did try to apply that to my business (going to the Post Office twice a week and that was it instead of every day), but what I need now is a Move the FlyLady Way! Now THAT could be a great topic!

I forgot to mention--I only clean when it's too dusty for me to breathe, I'm out of dishes or need clothes. I'm a terrible housekeeper!

I wish I could add some suggestions here for you, but I'm afraid I need suggestions as well. With all the hours I work, when I get home housework is the last thing that I want to do. I do try to put in a load of laundry before I leave for work and then change it out the next morning before I go to work. I still have a 18 year old daughter at home that does some things around the house, but not as much as I would like for her to do! I need tips on how to get her to do more than she is currently doing, I've tried list for her, and they work for awhile but then it seems not to work just as soon as I think it is working.

That would be great if your teen would do the housework. That would help you out so much. My suggestion would have been the list. Have a super duper day.

I would hate a housecleaning schedule it would make me feel like a robot. I think it's probably a good way to get things done though.
