I've recently moved down to Arkansas from Iowa because my 55 year old father had a massive heart attack and had to undergo a quadruple bi-pass, and he needed family and extra help to get back on his feet. At the same time this was happening to my Dad, his closest brother passed away at 58 from a massive heart attack. Undergoing a situation like this and having to go through something like this really makes you look at life a little different. I often find myself visualizing pulling up in the drive way and there being an ambulance taking my Dad back to the hospital, and other little things like this. I've always been okay and accepting of death, but it scares me a lot now that I've seen how close to it my Dad has came. Just makes you think about a lot of things.

First of all, I'm very sorry for what had happened to your father. I'm very grateful that you have decided to go back and stay with him in this critical situation of his life. We could really know what going to happen with our life. I see healthy people who in a split of time would have a terrible disease and die. We just have to be careful in the way we live, how we're going to live our life. Also I think it's very important to show your love and affection to the people around you because we just don't know what tomorrow will bring to us. Hope you're dad will continue to recover from this sickness.
