I have been doing a little exploring arouns my own state of Victoria here in Australia lately and I have notices how country towns these days don't seem to have collectables of their towns anymore..in my younger days I collected cloth badges and pins and stickers from every plave I visited, I travelled around New Zealand and collected a sticker for my suitcase from every town I visited, I loved that suitcase of memories, until someone broke into my house years later and took my suitcase to load all my things into...but collecting these things was part of the fun of travelling and I thought how sad today that only the big tourist places have things like this to collect...

sounds like a very interesting collection. I used to love collecting writing paper from all over the world. I had some printed in australia as well. I kept a sheet of writing paper from every box I purchased as well. At one time I had well over 40 pen pals from all over the world.

I must tell you how much I enjoy reading about your adventures. Its almost like I imagine myself there. You have such a great life. You are blessed. I only hope that I will be able to travel places like that and have such wonderful memories like you. I am sooo sorry about your suitcase. People dont realize how important anothers items may be. Have fun in your next adventure. I look forward to hearing about it. God Bless dloveli

That sounds like a delightful activity or hobby. I love to collect charms! Charms for bracelets, I'm sure you've seen them. I had large collections of figurines before my daughter was born, but they have all since chipped or broken so now I keep the remaining ones put safely out of sight! Now I collect something smaller that we can both enjoy. Also she collects lip glosses! She loves those. All kinds! I don't like the ones that are deep red as they smear everything in the house and won't clean up!
