"Global Warming Takes Holiday" BBC News Says

According to the BBC news article Next decade 'may see no warming' the dredded Global Warming phenomenon, man made or not, may be taking a ten year holiday. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7376301.stm The culprit is called Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation (AMO) which is closely related to the warm currents that bring heat from the tropics to the shores of Europe. The results of all this debate and Global Warming and the phenomenon taking holidays? That we as Humans really don't know how to predict the weather....

Well we can only hope so, I was watching a report on the breaking Ice and the polar bears, it is very sad and scary, if this keeps happening it could be the end of the polar bears...

Yes, it is sad for that individual species. I am not sure at the exact cause of the melting though as there are volcanoes in very close proximity and there may be volcanoes under the water. Active volcanism can have profound earth changing effects.
