I always wanted a boy, and thats what I got. I didn't want to have to deal with the girly stuff, like dresses, hair do-dads, jewelry, and all the same stuff for their dolls. My sisters had the girls, so I have lovely nieces. But I prefer footballs, and Tonka Trucks! So I'm glad I had a boy. #:)

Well its not that one is better than the other. I guess I'm just a tomboy at heart, and I only had sisters growing up. So since I never got a brother, I'm glad I got a son!
And it is just as important to worry about a boy getting a girl pregnant, as it is to worry about a girl getting pregnant. #:)

I have three daughters and two sons and will take the boys over the girls any day. The girls have all been a handful but the boys are very easy to bring up, so far. I even got to the point when I had my last child that I told the doctor if it was a girl to take it away I did not want to know. Don't get me wrong, I love my girls, but boys are better.

I have raised 3 boys and 3 girls. @ of the boys and 2 of the girls are my own the the other 2 are my grandkids. They are equally challenging. but I must say that my oldest daughter was a real challenge when she became about 16 years old. I was a single parent. There were times that I really didn't like her. We were having so much trouble and she was so rebellious that I finely had had it and took her to juvenile hall. There we met a wonderful councilor that listened to me and he looked at her and told her I didn't have to put up with her behavior. She did a complete turn around. I don't know what I was expecting but it sure wasn't that. but I really wish I could thank him today as she is a lovey young woman with 3 daughters of her own now. Girls are harder to raise than boys. They are more moody and can be much more vicious and manipulative than boys.

I don't think so i have one daughter and four sons. Even tho me and her are the only females in the house i dont favour her over my sons. But then again she is a tomboy she hates anything girly and refuses to wear dresses.
