my problem is i don't get much responses from my topic. i guess it was started or listed in wrong interest. for example, i have a discussion about mobile phones and i started it at the interest called automobiles. my question is, can i move a topic or discussion from one list of interest to another?

Yes this is also a reason. You should try to post your discussions in right interest. Otherwsie you will not get more responses.
And you should also check quality of your discussions.
You should start quality and lengthy posts and you should start discussions on social topics then everyone will reply. And you will get more and more responses.
Thanks

thanks, arshad. it was really a mistake of mine to start that discussion from that interest. the next time i will start a new one, i will be very very careful in selecting the right interest for my discussion. thanks again...

ooo...that's a good question! I've actually wanted to do this before too. When I don't get a lot/any response on a discussion, I feel like pasting it on another discussion-especially when I really want some answers for it! But I'm not sure if we are allowed to or not. Maybe you could email Mylot and ask them...or ask that Crash guy.

I think you just have to be careful next time, in trying to put that specific topic on it's proper interest.
This is one problem most of us have a hard time dealing with, things got a lot complicated as the admin went through numerous updates.
But I would suggest you to PM the admin, just write "mylot" on the "mylot user" box before you compose a message.

I think you should be careful the next time you post a topic for discussion. Try browsing first to your lists of interest before typing your discussion. Have a nice day!!!

I haven't been getting a lot of the response, either. I think that finding the right interest in which to place it is a good idea, neildc. Also, I think I may need more friends as well as supportive friends. I try to respond to all of my friend's discussions. I guess it is naive of me to think that my friends will be just as supportive to me.
