What do you think of when you think of candy or carmel apples?

I think of Halloween and the cool evenings. I also think of the carnivals that come to town and the lights and the screams of the kids on the rides going around and around.
I also think of how my teeth would get stuck to the candy and the apple would always be nasty tasting after I got past the candy part.
What do you remember or think about when you think of carmel or candy apples?

I think of my childhood, when my grandmother used to make her own, but it never tasted as thick as the store bought ones that I loved so much. Gosh I have never had these treats, carmel apples and cotton candy in years.

Oh, I love candy apples.You are making me very hungry for one right now!! When I think of them I think of the state and county fair they always have them there. And also halloween. I think of how hard it is to first bit into them, but once you do, they are so wonderfull. I do not like the caramel apples ut my daughterloves them, we go to an amusement part in the summer every other weekend, she will get her one then.

Thinking about carmel apples reminds me of the carnival that comes to town or the circus that comes to town once in awhile. I also think of halloween and bobbing for apples. I am not one who like apples though and I hate carmel so carmel apples are not for me.

Like you, i think about the carnival that comes here every year. But i must confess i dont like candy apples although i love carmel.It seems as if they take apples that aren't good and use them, and i hate corky apples, i could never even as a child eat a bruised apple. But my kids love those yucky things.I dont celebrate halloween never did so they dont remind me of that.

Candy apples bring me back to my childhood. We lived near a baseball field that had carnivals and even a small circus one time. I remember nagging my Mother and Father to take me there. It was so close to my home that I could hear the rides, smell the popcorn and everything going on. The other thing I loved was the cotton candy!!!
