What is Your Favorite National food?

So if you are American, what is your fav America food? Vice versa to all mylotters from different countries. I am from Indonesia who had so many tasty and mouth watering food. Its real hard to choose onlt one. We got pempek,nasi gudeng, ayam Kalasan etc
My fav had to be Lontong Cap Go Meh. Lontong is made from compressed rice cake with curries spices. You can add egg,chicken, veggies etc. Its very popular specially in Java island. Yummy!!!An interesting fact is Cap Goh Meh came from China traditional celebration. usually Chinese people celebrate it 15 day after the Chinese New Year. So between Java and Chinese ethnics in Indonesia had very closed culture.
So mylotters, what is your fav national food?

I'm American, and I think my fav american food is Ice Cream. Actually I'm not really sure if Ice cream is from america, but it seems like it is. xD

Theres a few international foods that I like. I love Indian, curry and pompdoms (?), Chinese, Mexican, just to name a few. We often go out to eat Chinese and Mexican, but my boyfriend doesn't care for Indian so thats not somewhere we frequent.

My favorite American foods are Thanksgiving themed. I love to eat turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce. If I had some baked mac and cheese to add to it that would make it all the better. My favorite carribean foods are jerk pork and a bakery item called brocolli and cheese (encased in a wheat type bread).
