My lot organization

Is there any way to organize your topics, like where the topics are listed with the pictures. I apologize if this is blatantly obvious, but I've only been here for several days.
By the time I find the avatar for whatever I was going to start a topic about, Ive completely lost my train of thought, so its a moot point. Is there something I'm missing here?
