IS myLot.com ready for launching?

With broadband internet connection I have, I find it difficult to get the first page, cannot criss-cross between pages and sometimes it takes 20 to 30 seconds for the page to appear and just now only 1/2 page appeared (vertically). Am I to feel that this site is getting exploded with users? Tell me your experience.

Three months ago, I predicted that mylot is getting exploded. See today it has 20000+ members. Itis difficult to get response for the discussion. The moment I post the discussion, it goes to 3rd 4th or 20th or 100th page. Just vanishes. Really exploding.

I have problems with this site too... I think it`s too slow!!! A friend of mine told me they have their server rented from another company and I don`t think they expected this boom... that`s why I think they didn`t invest very much in this site!!! Hope they`ll fix this because it can easily start to annoy people Who use it daily!!!

Yes the site is exploded with ppl but still there is no problem for me the site response has always been quick i never felt any problem

Even I was getting similar problem yesterday even today, it's too slow to work. Even I asked the similar question yesterday.It can because heavy load on the site I think. Hope this will not happen regularly.

This site is enchanting and exciting. I would like to stay at this site for 2 hours a day. It is addictive too. Reading everybody's comment gives a vague idea of personalities incolved in myLot.

Excellent question... I think the site could use some user interface / graphics improvements and the search engine doesn't work to well... I also think that a directory of sorts that could direct users to specific areas of discussion would be helpful... Those are my biggest suggestions, and, in the end, I guess I would say that the site launched a little prematurely, but I think it has great potential...

Yes, myLot is growing very quickly. Given the time of day right now, I would not be shocked of the momentary slowdown was due to an update, patch, server reboot, or maintenance... I am seeing new changes quite often.

I see a lot of people coming everyday to this site. Discussion subjects are nemerous and different. I think the site will explode as the site authorities wanted. Thanks to all myLot participants.

Being terminally bored, I have been looking back at very early discussions. This for example is no 15021, and the total is up over a million, so very early. I would have to say, had I seen this site back then I would have rolled around the floor laughing, and then never visited it again. The standard of discussions and replies was abysmal. I also note that about 10% of discussions have been removed for violations, and the opening poster in this one, who has clearly been around a long time, must be lucky not to have joined them. Copy and paste the same response in about half the replies? Really. It's been sort of an interesting exercise, but I'm starting to get cranky. Lash
