Why did I wait so long?

Ok, if you guys have been reading any of my recent posts, you would know that I was preparing to have all of my wisdom teeth removed. I was a little nervous about the downtime afterwards, but I must say that I feel pretty good. No swelling, a little pain every now and again. But all in all, pretty good. I guess everyone's tolerance for pain is different. For what I'm going through right now, I suffered for three years waiting on these stupid teeth to cut through my gums. And for what? I feel great!
Have you had any teeth pulled? If so, how many? If not, but you need to, why haven't you?

oh ive had most of my uppers pulled. and need to go back to have a lower wisdom pulled that is pushing a fixed bridge all out of place. doesnt hurt at the moment so i am putting it off as long as i can..money and all you know.
its amazing how much pain i put up with before having all the work done..i dealt with it for years. but not having any insurance and not having the amount of money i had to put out for just a couple of teeth pulled much less all the ones that needed to go, and the caps etc. that had to be done..just way to much to come up with..even if i had done it one tooth at a time; means you can put up with a LOT of pain..lol when you have to!

i know the feeling. i have insurance, and i still ended up coming out of pocket nearly $700 when you include medication. my general dentist quoted me another $2000 in work on my other teeth, but that will have to wait until i'm back under my deductible!
