With the way the economy is going what are some things that you are doing to save money and cut back on spending? I use coupons to get groceries. I also shop at stores that double my coupons up to sixty cents. I only buy things that are on sale and if I have coupons for that also I am very excited! I am considering growing a garden to cut back on having to buy fruits and veggies. I try to combine all my errands in once trip to town to save some on gas. I have gone through all my utilities and have tried to find ways to cut back on them. I am sure there are many, many other ways to cut back that I have not thought about. Please share your ideas and let us all encourage one another on how to cut back on spending.

Those are very good ideas that you have shared here. Especially doing your errands and such in one trip to save gas. I like doing rebates from Rite Aid and Walgreens. I do RiteAid rebates more because you can submit your receipts on line. I usually get lots of free things this way. And with coupons sometimes even end up being paid for buying the item.

YES!!! I love Walgreens rebates! I get so much FREE! I haven't been to Rite Aid and tried theirs. I may have to give them a try too. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the best response. I actually like Rite Aid better because you don't have to send in receipts like you do Walgreens, you can submit receipts on line.
