After thousands of years, a volcano erupts in Santiago Chile. Have you ever been anywhere near a volcano eruption? That seems like a pretty frightening experience for even the bravest to face. Have you ever survived any major catastrophes? Here's a place to share your story. http://news.aol.com/story/_a/villagers-flee-as-chilean-volcano-erupts/20080502193109990001

Nope never been near one. Have only seen volcanoes erupt in movies. The closest disaster I have ever been in was a hurricane that hit Samoa a few years back. Luckily it wasn't that bad, but lots of coconut trees were down, thatched houses were blown away and luckily noone injured. We had no power for a week but luckily our neighbor had a gas burner so were able still to cook. The winds where howling and the rain wouldn't stop - was scary at night with only candles lit and just the three of us at home together.

Oh boy, I never been a part of a disaster like that. And I do not want to be either. It's too bad about the houses being blown away and power being out. And darn those stupid coconut trees, LOL. The first thing that you mentioned were those darn coconut trees, hehe.
