Hello all, I have a beautiful 6 week old kitten named "Fluffy". I have pictures of her on my profile. She is a real joy to have. She is so beautiful and playful. She also has beautiful blue eyes. Does anyone know about kittens? I am still feeding her newborn kitten formula in the kitten bottles. She will not take cat food or milk in a small bowl. She only accepts the kitten bottle. When shall I start serving her cat food out of a bowl? Thanks so much, princessta

I got my kitten when he was 5 months old. Keep doing what you are doing by feeding your kitten by the bottle. As far as how old they have to be not sure on that one. You can call a animal vet to ask they should be able to give you some good tips of when to start reg. food. Your kitten sounds beautiful. Mine is black and white. He is 1 yr. and 2 months old. Good luck w/ your kitten and enjoy him I enjoy mine.

Did you check out her pictures on my profile? She is so cute. She doesn't play with the toys I bought her. She likes to play with my feet. She sometimes looks like she is smiling when she is playing. I also sometimes sing to her. She really enjoys that. It is like she knows what I am singing about.

Oh it's really cute! I love kitties but I can't afford to have one, it's mostly because where I live and I don't really have time for that. I think it's really good to have a kitty though, if I had one, I think I am just going to stay at home all day and night playing! *laughs*.

Oliver and his bottle - At about 10 days old
6 weeks is more than old enough to be eating on her own. Try tempting her with human baby food - meat of course. Or, what we did to get Oliver to finally lap was put down some tuna water. That boy didn't want to drink out of a bowl either. But she's not getting enough nutrition anymore in just the milk, you need to get her off it as soon as possible. Maybe putting it down for a while in a bowl - we couldn't do that because the big cats would drink it - to unpleasent results....

Hello ElicBxn, you told me to inform you on how my kitten is doing. She won't eat cat food, but she eats aunt jimama breakfast sausages. I have to pour water on it to get the grease out of it. Then I have to dice it up so she won't have to take too much of a big chunk at once. I also have to sneak water in her milk so she will drink enough water so she won't become dehydrated. I will keep you informed about her progress every so often. Thanks, PrincessTa
