I know that when I started the discussion 2 weeks ago about roasting I stated that we would have them go off all on one day. You guys were great and it was a wonderful success. So guess what Everyone enjoyed it so much we are going to be doing this all over again next weekend so we need four volunteers at least to put on the new roasts. Love you guys and have a nice one..
To make this a discussion.
How did you feel about the roasts and should we make our own category for them...?

No category....I suspect that our roasts may not be with in guidelines. we will see. But for now those of us that have enjoyed will savor and remember. Even if they are taken out. I have one more myself to do tomorrow... well later today. Its been fun Bella no doubt.

here are the things celebrations, birthdays, milestones.,.jokes recipes copy and paste jobs..... Roasts fall in there just a bit LMAO I don't want anyone getting their knickers in a bunch if they get pulled. They might :)) i hope not but we did not do them for money... we did them to honor our friends. we know that.

Your absolutely right Angel we know why they were here and put and we were ready from the get go to get them pulled but others who weren't in my very first roast discussion didn't know the reason we did them all together was if they got pulled we would know where the drop was I am going to copy each roast and send it in email format today to the people that we roasted so that they have at least that to remember that they are loved and can look back and laugh at it. Have a nice one guys.

I hadn't even thought about the Guidelines. If they all get pulled it will be like I never came back. LOL. No that I am back properly. There's another week to go after today. But that is a very valid point. We shall have to wait and see. I hope that they don't, it may be a bit of a mutual love in, but we have made the thing open to everybody. I'd love to explain why my friends are so fantastic to someone in need of educating about them.

Well when you started this discussion off the last time, if I remember rightly I did not have a clue what it was!! To me, a roasting meant bad things. But you told me what it was all about, so if you need a volunteer then I will be a volunteer for you!!

me pike spark cyn angelwhispers. roasted a person each. I roasted spark and so the discussion started with spark in the title pike roasted Cyn , Spark roasted me, Cyn roasted skinny, and Angelwhispers roasted Goodie.

I thought the roasts were fantastic bella sweet and thoroughly enjoyed them - still am as a matter of fact! lol A category all of their own may be a good thing to have if they are going to be a regular feature! I would love to say I would volounteer but I don't think I would be able to do justice so I will leave it to our more talented and eloquent friends and simply enjoy them! xxx

You are talented and eloquent. I think you'd do just fine if you wanted to roast someone. LOL!!! The roasts have been decided to go the first weekend of every month ... That way since they are on a borderline we only worry about points loss in the begining of the month. Not to mention doing it to frequently might get us in some kind of trouble and I don't want anyone to get into trouble over a fun idea. So we limit it and don't make a category so that we can just enjoy it. LOL!!! Have a nice one today luv.

Good job, Bella, I loved them all and it gave me a chance to brush up on my rhyming skills too. You know how I love to rhyme. I find myself looking strangely forward to June somehow..........

I have loved these roasts and they were worth breaking my self imposed exile for. An Interest category I am all for. But I am not so certain about doing one week in and week out. Don't get me wrong, I love all my friends to bits (even the one that just deleted me as friend - at least she told me that she was going to do it). But I worry that the roast idea, which is fresh and novel for us now, will become stale and abused. I would suggest that we do have Roast weekends, but relatively infrequently and when the application of one will do most good. Say every three months or so. Of course there is nothing to stop us having ones for special occasions. Somewhere around July 11 might be a good time. I have a whole fund of wedding insults I just want to throw!!

I am with you pike, these roasts are probably border lining on guidelines. So what if they do get wiped, we have been here and enjoyed, we know what our friends have said, we know how much we are loved. one good thing can turn into abuse. We did it, I am not quite finished. I so love you being home again. Your swimming in your pond.

Point taken I have to agree we should limit them maybe One set a month since we have done may's then the first weekend in June should be fun. Every three months and I would forget sorry to much on my plate. LOL!!

I thought it was great. I was going through a bad time when Cyn did mine and it really cheered me up. I would volunteer to do one this time! Just tell me who and I'm yours doll!

I have read through most of these roasts, they were a hoot. I didn't add to any, cuz...well you guys just did so well with them, I had nothning to add, or didn't know the person being roasted enough to feel right participating. Many of you are now my friends, so I'm up for it. But lets get to know each other a bit more...k?
