I have posted a donation button on my blog.....i want to know if i have done good or bad.....that donations i am going to use for purchasing stationary for school children who cant manage to purchase stationary....i will be doing this purcahsing thing online and get the dilivery done to the school........any other ideas please suggest........

i dont think there is something wrong with that, it sure is a best way to get a donation to help your cause coz you get a better chance of people reading it and somehow get involved by giving something.
i dont know if you already have a website, if not you can also try to join freewebs.com as they have their site capable of attaching donation button on it. i like having a website than a blog coz you can control and do whatever you want on it and maybe make it as a site for you to let the whole world know about your project of helping out the school in that way you can get more people coming over and hope that works.
sorry i dont have much of an idea other than the one i saw on the site i mention when i was browsing one night.
hope others can give you a better one though.
