I've done this a few times before, I have a big commercial breville juicer that my dad bought me a few years ago. My favourite is carrot juice with a swirl of honey, but I love making big mixes with a bit of everything: apples, oranges, carrot, celery, watermelon, ginger, the list goes on. I felt a lot better after my week on my primarily liquid diet, and I did lose a fair bit of extra weight, but I think the health thing was probably a bigger thing =D I would recommend no rigorous activity though, like the first responder, and I also liked having dried fruit and nuts to snack on as well as juice - it was nice to have something to physically eat as well. Don't be afraid to have some sort of meal at some point in the day - a healthy, light breakfast or brunch actually tends to keep the whole thing going better, even if it's not a complete fast. =D

Yes indeed, it's an almost-fast =P But I'm pretty sure that it's just as good if not better, especially if you plan on fasting for 5 days or more, or your energy levels will just drop without extra nutrients =)
