What I will ask to you is that did you take up biology becuase its your passion and your love or did you sign up for it because it is 'hot'? If its your passion then I suggest go for it. Even if the work is very rare, if you're one of the best biologists then you're sure to get the job even if others has took it up also. If you signed up for it becuase its what everybody else is doing and you dont have any interest in it at all then Ill advise you to find that one true calling where you'll be happy with the knowledge with or without a job. I know its hard to find that special course that you really want learn about and practice/apply it in daily life as a job but I guess you'll just have to look hard. Look inside yourself and find the course thats right for you with no biases of other people just you. You should also do it while its still early so you can pursue that and not waste the things you've learned about biology. Well, I hope that helps somehow and goodluck to you!^_^

I really appreciate your kind advice, you just give me the most important tip. I am still wondering about the special course. You know, just as you have mentioned, it is very hard to find the right thing for myself, for we usually are the last person to know and understand ourselves very well. I don't hate biology at all, while at the same time I don't love it too. sometimes, I am a little interested in photos, as they are beautiful, maybe everyone love beautiful things. And it is a little difficulty for me to learn painting from knowing nothing at this moment.
still, thank you very much for your kind help. It did good for me. thank you!

I agree with bjcrix. If taking up biology course was not really at your heart or passion, then probably shifting to another course which you really like to pursue is the best option. But if biology is really your passion, then go for it. You don't know what is in store for you. Biology is also a prep to medicine, so you have another course to take as option as a continuation of biology.
Good luck!

thank you for your kind advice. I will consider my major deeply and carefully, and look the inside of me to find the right thing, the real interest. Indeed, medicine is also not bad. I am very glad to meet you all here to give me the best advice. I will try my best to go through it-the confusing time period. Many thanks!
