Last night's episode was brilliant! It was lovely to see Martha Jones again. Better yet that she was strong enough to be a triple agent. Did anyone else catch the shout out to The Lost Child episode. Very doctorly that he was willing to sacrifice himself to save the earth. What did you think?

I thought it was a great episode, but then i pretty much love all the new Dr Who's! I missed the mummy/mask bit, but can remember the episode it was in very well. Yeah, i thought the Dr's reaction to the military was kinda harsh too. It was obvious they were the good guys and that army general was very respectful to the Dr. Still, he was glad of them in the end! Yes, the whole fire / atmosphere thing was kinda strange, was done v quickly too, like they kinda realised it wasn't overly pheasible and hoped people wouldn;t notice if it was quick! Was nice to have martha back, loo's like she's in it again too. Her and Donna make a good pair, though i'd hate to think what would happen if martha ever met Rose!!

It wouldn't surprise me if Martha and Rose do meet up. Rose has already had that strange little cameo in the first episode.

A pretty good episode on the whole, although I didn't understand how setting fire to the sky was supposed to clear the gas, which was at ground level. I also thought the Doctor was mad for wanting to "give the Sontarans a chance" while knowing full well they wouldn't surrender and he'd be killed. It's not like he hasn't killed people before. One thing about this and the previous episode, it's brought out the Doctor's narrow-minded, slightly bigoted side in relation to the military. He was very short with the new UNIT CO, despite the guy being respectful to the Doc - I mean the Doc's been around soldiers in the past, he knows that they're not all one-dimensional goons. It was nice to see UNIT get a proper chance to fight back later on. I thought the Sontarans were well done, and true to their previous portrayals, and it was nice to see Martha again (absolutely the sexiest companion he's had for years). I wonder if she'll be in the next season of Torchwood?
