Love This Shot

A beautiful day today so the wife and I were ouitside doing a lot of garden work etc. She worked mainly on the strawberries. She was reaching for her tiny rake as she refused to move the rest of her body at the same time. It looks like she decided to start some type of TV exercise routine as she sat in the garden area. Have you ever taken a photo that appears completely different than the actual actions of the person like this shot here? I love trying to get great photos of the least expected things and or actions. Just me I guess.

Your wife must be a saint, I would not want a photo of myself doing that up on line...
And yes, I have also refused to move if I didn't have to and ended up looking just like your wife.. (but I would never want it posted on line..)

this over my shoulder. She has a sense of humor. (most times)

Poor mrs AGB - are you constantly taking pictures? lol She does look like she is exercising though and I have to say I don't blame her for refusing to move the rest of her body , she works hard all week , she deserves a bit of a rest on a Sunday! lol I must say though I am disappointed - I would have thought you would have been gentleman enough to get her rake for her! xxxx

hahaha! She is laffing as she reads these responses too. yeah I take a lot of photos all the time. I love it a lot too. I couldn't get her rake as she was set on getting it herself and would have chewed my head off if I moved it the wrong way etc. She is a workaholic and does all kinds of chores on her day off. I try to tell her to relax but this is her realxing I guess. Thanks hun.

Ah that explains it - my faith in you has been restored AGB! I would never want to encourage a man to do something that would get his head eaten off by his beloved wife - I have seen the state my own man ends up in when this happens! LOL Hugs to you both! xxx

Grandpa Bob, I would be mortified if my hubby was taking pictures while we were gardening. Thanks to the new house, we have done quite a bit. Raking up all the pine needles that the previous owner NEVER raked was hard enough !! Hopefully I'll prove to have a green thumb. We have got a lot of areas/flower beds...

thanks Grandpa.. I will try..lol. Most of the stuff we have is green, perennials... we have a colassal cabbage from the school for my son, some green onions, and trying to get some sunflowers and stuff going too.. if it all comes out, I'll post some pics for ya !!

Look at her form. It just shows you how natural working out really is. All the weird stretches and moves you see, have to do with the way the human body actually moves.
When I have a garden, would your wife give me any tips? I cannot wait until I have my own real garden...lol...the one in my mind is beautiful ...

great shot, I can't say that I can think of a single picture where it looks like somebody is doing something different than they are actually doing in my collection.

I enjoy taking photos, because I want to record life and keep some of my memories. But I do not have a digital carema myself. I always want to buy one. However, it's still too expensive for me to afford. Maybe I can do that later when I have my job. Now I just take some photos with my cell phone from time to time.

You can get a digitial camera that works decently for under a hundred dollars now days.

Yeah, two of my friends were talking and a took a picture of them and it looked as though they were posing for one of those college/university prospectus' where everyone is over happy and sociable in a cheesy Kodak moment type of way.
