Has your life gone as planned?

When you think about the last few years, are you happy with how things have gone? Have they gone as you would have liked, or as you planned? What was the damage if things didn't go as you wanted?
My husband and I hit a huge bump in our life plans a year ago, but things are finally looking up. Thankfully, we'll recover just fine - just with a few thousand dollars debt, and 3 wasted years. I get a littler bitter sometimes, but we're going to make it.

Oh no, things have definitely not gone as planned. : ) I thought by now I would have finished college, and have a fairly nice career going. Instead, I had to drop out, and I'm still stuck as a senior. I don't see that changing anytime soon. I could never have foreseen the health problems, and I've learned to make due with what life has given me. It's tough, but I never have given up the thought that each day it's going to get better. And even though my circumstances have never been harder, I find myself more content now than ever before. So maybe it is all worth it. Maybe.
