Have you ever tried to save money in a saving box?

Recently, I'm trying to save some money for our next travelling. So I put RMB1 a day in my saving box. I have tried it before, but I give up midway. This time I think I will stick to it, as love is the motivation, it is more powerful. Have you ever tried to save money in a saving box, for what reasons, do you succeed or give up midway?

Glad to see you too. As you are moving on, wish you good luck. I'm not very sure yet where to travel, but Beijing no, it's far from Ningbo, and if I want to save that much money, it will take a long time, maybe Shanghai is possible.

I do save money in a small box, i let the change add up then I roll it and put it into my savings account for a rainy day whenever I would really need it like for student loans or whenever I get married.

I have tried saving money in a box before but gave up as we needed the money and I found it hard to save. When money is tight, it's hard to put some away to save for something. I do have a jar that I save all of my change in though. Just not sure what I am saving for. I'll figure it out later, I'm sure.
