For all the mothers out there (specially the working mom) how do you leave message to your children when your going away for a work or trip without them? Do you leave notes on the table or in stick it on the refrigerator so that they can see it easily or do you really have a guidelines that are already permanently post in the board so that they will remind them every now and then. I'm a home mom but sometimes I have to go on a trip for almost a week. I decided to post a permanently guidelines for them so that they can saw it every time they forgot something. How about you mothers out there what did you do?

I would normally tell them verbally everything they need to know at night. When I go to work the next day I try to call them or text them to check on them.

i hardly leave a note for the kids the instruction is better given in person, sometimes i do have to make go thrughthe next day"s instruction before finally retiring to bed and when its morning i wake them up and quickly give them a verbal reminder just to be sure

Seldom, I used to leave notes when my mom had gone out shopping. But my mom had never. She would ring instead. I had a friend whose mom was a working lady unlike my mom and I had seen her leaving notes always. Like when my friend used to come back from school she would find a note telling her what to eat and she ate accordingly and stuffs like that.. I was quite amused by this!

I always had a communication notebook that was left on the table for writing notes to each other. I have saved them all and some of them are hilarious now.

I used to leave notes for my mom. I think it's a good way to communicate as a working mother.

I don't leave what to do notes, but on my children's birthdays every year i write them a letter. I started that with my first son and it has continued through my third. i think it's important, especially when they get older, to go back through those to see how much they changed and how much you enjoyed every single step of their life. My mother did that for me until i was 18 and moved out of the house and I will continue to do that for my children every year. they are saved and put in their baby books, so that one day they can look back on them when they are older and not only see how much love i have for them now and then, but to be able to always read them as well. God bless
