if you can choose what year you will be born, what year/century would it be?

With the fast pace life we're having right now, do you wish somehow that you were born in a different timeline? If that crossed your mind what year/era would you likely choose? I, for one would have chosen the 18th century,where the world and its technology are its youngest. I can imagine that life then wasn't as fast as compare to now or as slow as with the other centuries. I want to enjoy life and the things our world can offer. I want to enjoy the fresh air,clean environment and bountiful resources. But what I would want more is to warn or prepare some solutions for the problems that we have today. what about you?

My son was born in 2004 and I hope to be born at that year. As this year it's the Beijing Olympics and I shall watch it. I don't have to go to work and I also don't have to go to school. It's the right time for me to enjoy this wonderful event at home.
