Reaction to Insult

How do you react when someone has insulted you? I bring this up as my mother recently commented about of all things the appearance of my eyebrows. First she asked who I shaped my eyebrows for me. I told her that I don't have anyone shape them. She stated that she didn't like how far apart they were and that I should stop doing them myself. I said that I didn't shape them at all, she said well you shave them. I was taken aback by the comment. My lip is still swollen from biting it.

I try not to let my mother's comments bother me. She says them as often as she farts. But that too stinks.
