What qualities do you look for in good music?

Everyone loves some type of music, however, different individuals take in different sounds, lyrics, emotions, and means of expression in different ways, and with each of us coming from a lifetime of very different experiences and ways of making sense of those experiences, we all tend to relate to what we hear in a different manner - and sometimes cannot find ourselves in what we are hearing at all. What is music to my ears may be blatant noise to someone else's and vice versa.
So, for you personally, which qualities in a piece of music must be present in order for you to consider it a piece of music worth listening to?

I, personally love anything with a good beat, a catchy tune and that I can sing to. I am not really picky when it come to type of music. I do love some classical music.
Everyone hears music differently from everyone else. I guess that is why we have so many types of music.

I am not picky when it comes to music either. And catchy tunes definitely never fade...

When I belong to the world, I like those slow rock music, and those beautiful love songs. Now that I am a Christian, I put away those worldly songs, they are an abomination unto me. I now like spiritual songs and biblical hymns that uplift my soul to the Lord my God. I like to hear those Christian old-time songs that only the redeemed can sing from the heart!

I perfer to the music only pure with sound without any words! that is really give me more speace to image the meaning that editor want to express about!
the quality of this kind of music is really hard adjusted! maybe there someone else can give me some suggestion, how to adjust about those kind of music? : )

good music must have good meaning...must be well structured in its tone.., for meaning the content matters most- that is the meaning of the song..!!
