Do you help your downline?

Do you help your downline or try to inspire them in some way? Or do you figure that if someone signs up for something under you that they can handle it and figure it out like you did? I have never had an upline help me with ANY program. It's always been a little frusterating. What I have learned, I learned all by myself. However, I used to work in sales programs where you sold things and those people who signed up under you to sell were your team. You worked with them and helped them get on their feet. You did things to inspire them. I did pretty well in this business and I am now using my experience there with the things I do online. I speak personally, online anyway, with every person who signs up under me in whatever program I am currently promoting. I try to work with them and help them with questions and issues. With the newest program that I am promoting I am even running monthly contests for my personal downline. I think that it is important to be a team leader, not just someone who you signed up under and don't even know. So my question to you is, do you support your downline? If yes, how? I would love to hear new ideas.
