What a sick thing to do..

Well I can't cut and paste the news story here because I don't have more than 500 posts but I was reading a news story on CNN.COM about a german mother who stuck her 3 babies in the family freezer that was in the basement she had wrapped them in newspaper and one of the papers dated back to 1988. The headline reads:
Mother only suspect in freezer baby case if anyone wants to go searcing for it I wish I could copy and paste the link here. Anyway I will be able to someday lol. Do you think this person is mentally ill? I sure do, not knowing the whole story yet I just think that there MUST be something wrong with her.

Yeah definetely mentally ill, and i wish i could know more what happened to her, some people should not be allowed to have children. Any ways as horrible as it is, i feel so sorry for those little lives. What ever the reason, stress, depression, whatever, at least there should have been some1 to chk on her, when she did it for the first baby. Donno the insights, just feel really sick ...

I do believe this person is mentally ill. She may be suffering from depression, her children may make her stress, have money problems and disrupt her sleep. She probably started to believe that her children were more of a pain than anything, and was mentally ill so she could carry on with her actions with ought too much resent.

Thanks for the tip. I can understand about depression after a baby is born after my third baby was born I remember sitting on my bed thinking how horrible it was because I wasn't going to see a full nights sleep anymore for awhile, and I can remember feeling very very sad and depressed about it. I think back on it and think what the heck was I thinking it was ONLY sleep and it's not like my baby was gonna be a baby forever! LOL.

That is horrible! I can not imagine how a mom can do that to her kids. I know I could never hurt my kids, I love them way too much! There has to be something mentally wrong with her for her to even consider putting her children in the freezer. Those poor babies. I tell you, some people have no business having kids.

It's are really sick thing to do. I don't want to be devil's advocate but perhaps this woman was suffering from a post natal depression. However discovering three babies in a freezer, makes me thing that there might be more than a depression to explain her actions.
