Do you feel dizzy when smoking on an empty stomach?

I do,especially when it's in the morning. My sis said she used to feel this way when she just started smoking, but now she doesn't. I've been smoking for 6 years, how much longer do I have to wait? lol I believe it depends on the person and maybe on their weight, the smaller you are,the harder it hits you. Am I right?

don't recall that ever happening to me. i have gotten dizzy if i don't smoke as much as i'm used to during the day though, like if i'm really busy and just don't have the time to stop. the first then is a major headrush.

I've heard a lot of people say their digestion changed since they started smoking,do you agree to that?

No, I don't have this problem. I don't know how long you have to go, but if I may say this, if you have only been smoking for 6 years, quit now! The longer you go, the more effect it will have on your body and its not good. unfortunately I have been smoking for about 24 years longer than you.

Wow,well I believe I've gone quite far with more than a pack a day. Not much compared to some people but still... My dad had been smoking for 40 years and quit, that's some will power. Thanks for the response and advice!

I feel the same way. I do get a bit dizzy, and feel uneasy when I smoke on an empty stomach. Its better to eat a small snack before smoking.

That is a possibility. I only get dizzy or light headed of I haven't smoked in a few days. I don't think I have ever gotten light headed or dizzy from smoking on an empty stomach. I also get dizzy if I smoke too fast.

Ditto. I feel the same way when I used to smoke to stop myself from eating (going on a crash diet). It didn't feel good. It hurts and I keep on belching. :D Well, try different brands. :)

I still get dizzy if I smoke first thing in the morning and I've been smoking for 15+ years. After my first cup of coffee, though, I'm good to go!

Lol at least I'm not the only one! I always though it depends on the person and their body type/how that body reacts to smoking. Thanks for sharing!

Sadly i no longer get that dizzy effect after smoking the first cig in the morning. The problem is that that was the only thing i really liked about smoking and it only lasted bout half a year.
