Does anyone know what is in Takeshi's Castle?

Hi! I know of Takeshi's Castle yeah, but I dont really know whats in it since I ahvent seen an episode that a challenger actually won. I watched an episode taht 2 guys almost won. They came to teh last challenge and was really about to win and they went head to head, the 2 guys with 2 guys of Takeshi's goons. They really almost made it but in the end they was caught and so they were out. Really exciting game and a really funny one at that!LOL! I know that the game really is pointless fun. But even if it is pointless at least the people who participate as well as the people who watch have fun too!^_^ Im sure the participants get some sort of reward or incentive from the show or somehting for their efforts and all.^_^

i like takeshi's castle when it was smokey who hosted the show in the philippines. i do not watch it now. i dont like its current format and how they presented it. its so lame.

If my memory serves me right, I've first watched this TV program about two decades ago. I was still single then. And until now that I have a daughter already, I still watch it occasionally and still love it and have a good laugh. Even my husband likes watching it. I believe it originated in Japan and the one we're watching here in the Philippines is being voiced over by our local artists. For all the episodes I have watched, I have never seen anyone won over the castle's protectors. I guess the participants do get a percentage of the winnings depending on the stage they have accomplished. I'm not exactly sure because it is not being translated to Filipino. Regarding the inside premises of Takeshi's Castle; I really don't have an idea. I even doubt it if it really is a castle. Maybe they just made the facade of it. Well, my guess is just as good as yours.
