Playing PS3 games on a standard television would not allow you to fully appreciate the visual details like game graphics. They are more clearer on HDTVs compared to blurry soft standard televisions. I was able to see a demo game once and there was this arcade game Tekken 6 that had a wide screen which I think anyone can tell as a HD screen display. The graphics were more crisper, if there is such a word to describe its visual effects, I was like watching something clearer than what my eyes could really see normally

This is all true and pretty much common sense. However if you want to get technical.. you would want to have a tv with the the highest possible resolution which is 1080p. There are others such as the 1080i and 720p, however if you want the best you need to play on hdtv with a 1080p resolution. Just because it's an hdtv doesn't mean it can dish out what it potentially can with just a 720p resolution.

Well, if that's how a gamer would end up appreciating a game, then being a gamer simply implies a luxurious life-style. (^_^") Not really sure on the resolution of the screen of that Tekken Six arcade but, gaming experience varies anyway, say that a game just got visually upgraded yet, the changes in the gameplay would be significant on how gamers would appreciate the game.
