Do you ever walk into a room and forget what you went in there for? I do. Then it takes me hours to remember why i had got up and gone into the room. Uusually its something trivial.
I also walk into a room set something down then keep going remember i had something (usually a glass of water) go to use it and i cant remember where i set it.
does this happen alot to you?

Wahaha!LOL! Guilty as charged!^_^ That happens to me too. More of the 'setting down somehting and forgetting' bit. I always have the remote. Its like glued to my hadn or somehting and when someone asks me to do somethng I dont put it down as much as I can. Otherwise if I needed to put it down and do other things its almost always true that Ill forget where I put it exactly. Good thing I only set it down somewhere that Ive seti it down before. In that way, Ill know where to look. If its not there then I usually tear the room apart!kidding.^_^ I do look for it everywhere else jsut so I could use it again.
With my experience in the room part, what happens to me is taht when I go to a specific room to get a specific item, Ill remember what the item is and where I put it so I can get it but when Im in the actual room, Ill get past the item and look around. In this point in time my mind will be blank then Ill start to think 'What am I doing here again?' Good thing the spell only lasts a minute or two. If I really completely forgot my purpose then Ill get out of the room. The weird thing is that as soon as I step one foot out of the room Ill remember what I went in there for in the first place! How strange is that??^_^

I do this all the time. I will walk into the kitchen or somewhere, and go, "Now what did I come in here for?" Usually if I stand there a moment, it will come to me, but in extreme cases I have to go back to where I started from and resume what I was doing. When I figure out what I needed to do what I was doing, then I can go back.

Yes it does!!! Everytime it happens I feel like I am loosing my mind. Its not like I had to walk that far to get what it is that I am going for; how did I forget at step five what I was going to get that was ten steps away???

Yeah, sometimes i tend to be forgetful. I know I have to get something and when I walk to the place or room, I forget what I want to get. Sometimes, I also forget where I put things. When I need something and I am looking for it, I can not locate or find it, but when I don't need that thing and doesn't look for it, it is there.

I have had these moments quite frequently. It's like a daily thing around here. I'm not sure if it's me or if it's the fact that I've got so much to do that I hurry around and do it. More often than not it's usually car key's, wallet, diaper bag. Anymore I try to put everything in the same place so I don't have to hunt for it.

It happens to me also. I walk in to the room and forget for what did i come there. To remind myself i go back to the place where i thought of bringing that particular thing. Sometimes it happens while talking also, i start speaking and forget what i wanted to say.

There are times when this happens to me. I do not know but for some reasons, I would rush into a room and when I am there, I do not know why I am there. LOL!
Sometimes, what I do is go back from where I came from and I get reminded of what I was in the other room for. And I do agree with you, usually it is something trivial.
