Okay I normally only buy what I need for the meals I am planning on making for the month. But for some reason I have some extra chicken and frozen vegetables in my freezer. I would like to make something with these things. Like a stew or soup. Now I am not interested in Chicken noodle soup, so the recipe would have to NOT have noodles in it. Any ideas as to what I could make. Again, I am looking for recipes like soups or stews. Here is a few of the things I have to work with: Boneless Skinless chicken breasts Frozen Mixed Vegetables Chicken broth Rice Now get creative and give me some ideas as to something I can make with these things.

Feed the chicken to your (or your neighbors) pets and make stir-fry from the veggies and rice ;) That's my unhelpful advice!

I take it you are a vegetarian??? As for stir-fry.... thanks but no thanks. I am not too big on stir-frys.

You caught me. Man, I love stir-fry. I eat it at least once a day, but then again it's one of the only things I can cook. You said you don't want to make chicken noodle soup because you don't want noodles, so how about making the soup with rice instead of noodles? I've always liked soup with rice in it.

Now that's a good idea. I might just have to try that.

Since I don't really cook that much anymore, I probably can't give you much help.. But it sounds like you have the makings of a good Chicken Pot Pie.. Make a good pie crust or buy one, add a can of cream of chicken soup along with the vegetables and some of the chicken, and you will have a great pie.. I love rice with chicken, so I might add a bit of it also..
