Accepting friends!

When I see a new friends request I like to look at their profile and example of posts before decided if I'll approve or deny the request. I think it would be great if instead of just saying "pending friend request" in a user's profile that you could also accept/deny the request as well. It would be really convenient. What does everyone else thing?

I just accept every request, so I guess it doesn't really bother me because I rarely look at profiles. Maybe if they have an interesting avatar I will look, but I am too self-centered to bother with reading about other people. (I am only kidding!)

lol, I like to know that they will at least post similar things to me or things I'm interested in. I hate having friends lists full of people I'll never discuss anything with.

When I get new friend requests, I usually open their profiles in a new tab and look at the discussions that they have started. There are times that they post interesting discussions and I simply participate in them. I would often accept their friend request, I rarely ask why they sent me a friend invite since I would usually just get the same reply of "just want to have more friend in this site" which isn't a bad thing

Yeah, that would make things easier. I also think it'd be nice if you didn't have to hunt for the discussion you wanted to start a discussion in. Just type it and get a message "Start new message" There's always room for improvement.
