An Indiana Upset in the Making??

At 11:15 PM EST Indiana is still too close to call with Clinton leading by 4%. However, among the precincts not yet reporting is Lake County which is expected to go heavily in Obama's favor. According to Tim Russert who said he's "run the numbers" there are over 200,000 votes yet to count and the lead is approximately 29,000. It's expected that this race may be decided by less than 1800 votes out of over one million cast. Could this be the end of the Democratic nightmare? Also, both candidates, in their speeches tonight, were quite conciliatory towards each other and both pledged that their party will be united. Any thoughts? I said this could be the end of the Democrats' nightmare but could it be the beginning of McCain's? Annie

As Lake County has finally started reporting he's just inched it to 2% now. I can see the Clinton Campaign in the morning claiming foul if Obama pulls this one out. I wonder if the Ditto Heads might have made the difference if Hillary wins Indiana? I would think it would anger the Super Delegates if Republicans are keeping Clinton's campaign on life support. I still think Hill barely wins but I'm very happy tonight. Obama was weathered the storm and had great numbers. I'd bet money the Super Delegates really start jumping on board in some significant numbers.

I'll have to remember the ditto heads to use as an example the next time a Republican tells me their party is the party of integrity and morals. I do have to admit that was high drama last night waiting for Lake County to come in. But anyway the Clinton camp tries to slice it she underperformed in both states and now is virtually mathematically eliminated not only with pledged delegates but also in the popular vote as NC gave Obama 225K more votes than her. I'm betting Hill got as much sleep last night as I did the night when she won New Hampshire.

I can only pray that this will be the end of the Democratic Disaster.... I also hope this will finally get to real debates between Obama and McCain, so everyone can really see where the candidates stand on the issues. Did you know in Indiana they closed the polls at 6 at many polling locations? How many people do you know that work or have children and a family to feed at that time? Ridiculous....and how some counties haven't been totalled yet, isn't this what happened in Florida? I'm here in Tx, and well, look at the striped state we have....
