The main computer is a Vista. The other three computers are XP laptops. On the Vista Printer sharing is ON, and I have enabled the printer settings to "share" The problem is none of the 3 laptops can "find" the printer. My firewalls are off. I have tried everything I can think of to make this work.
The only thing I can think of is maybe because the main computer is a Vista and the others are XP and this is a problem? I am so confused
Please help

Well firstly how are your laptop connected to your vista machine. Is it wireless? Did you try to hook up the laptop to the printer and use the other pcs to connect to it. When it comes to have multiple connection it is best to use windows 2003 or if you want to try to find a 3rd party that can help you configure in vista..try www.cnet.com . I strongly recommend to hook up your laptop and than connect other pcs/laptop to it..hope this helps
