I just looked outside and there are three hen turkeys in our back yard! I love watching nature but these are so beautiful. They are just grazing and sauntering around. It is so awesome to live where I can see all this wildlife just in my back and front yard.

You are very lucky to live in a place where you can see things like that. We live in town and have to take a drive to see anything other then birds flying. It would be neat to live in the country and see turkeys wondering around.

I'm living in a place that's not far from my town, but seems nowhere near it because of trees and such, so I get to see turkeys, deer, the occasional fox or raccoon, plus all sorts of birds. Very cool. And my dog agrees :)

Oh, it is so awesome to get to watch the wildlife. I just have to stop whatever I am doing and just watch them when they are in the yard. Thanks for the post.

hi mama! yeah, i like that too. i remember that when i was a kid, i lived with my parents in a nice house with a large bacyard. my mom would take care of white chickens, because she would fatten them up for let's say birthdays, christmases, etc. anyway, i loved to see them going around the garden and running around when the dog plays with them. i miss those times...anyway, i live in the city now, so we have no space for that. even our garden now is just a small space on the third floor. hehe good day!

It brings back great memories doesn't it? Sort of makes you homesick? Thanks for your post.

That is terrific about the turkey hens in your back yard. I love to see all the wild life too. You are very lucky to have the turkey hens. It is unusual to see them. I do have a small pond in my pasture, and once in a while I get some wild geese and also ducks and it is a lot of fun to watch them. Have a great day watching your turkeys.

That's so cool. We have wild turkeys in our area too. But you have to go out into the countryside a little ways to see them. One time we saw a whole family of turkeys (3 little ones followed behind the parents). My husband has seen whole flocks of them in fields.

I love seeing the babies in the wildlife. They are so sweet. We saw six baby geese on too long ago in a pond not far from our farm. They were between the two adult geese. It was so sweet how they were swimming right between them. It reminded me of a story that I read to my grandkids a while back from the baby ducks point of view. LOL Thanks for the post.
