we all try to keep ourselves healthy. so we drink safe drinking water. but there are times when we feel very thirsty and we do not get safe drinking water to drink. so what do we do at those situations... control our thirst for some time and wait for the safe drinking water. or we just drink whatever water that we get.
i do sometime drink unsafe water when i get very thirsty.
. what do you all do?.

hello praveenjena how are you.
i have marked you keep posting about health related things.thats nice of you providing health facts every now and then.
i believe there no other thing that would equal a glass of pure and safe drinking water in health benefits.but ironically safe drinking water is also rare.naturally when we feel thirsty we first opt for safe water.and sometimes we try for it in the marts...but believe me those are all just drinking water(ever read the labels that say packaged drinking water)."safe" is always missing.
and when we feel very very thirsty water is what we desire, be it safe or not.we forget being just visibly pure doesnt mean safe.
i always keep a bottle of water from my purifier at my reach.you try it too buddy.ITS SAFER.
take care.

Well i fully agree with you. It is very good to carry safe drinking water with you. That way you wont remain thirsty and you will always have safe drinking water for yourself.
Have a good day.
And thanks for responding to my discussion.

Well this depends on the person. Some people's bodies are adapted to unpurified water and they can drink whatever water they want. On the other hand, those whose bodies have always been treated with "safe" water are not at all adapted to non potable water.
Let me share a little story. A couple years back I was in Burma (Myanmar) and we came back to the hotel from a hike and stopped at a restaurant. I was VERY thirsty and we asked if the water they served was purified/potable. They said yes so I drank 3 big glasses of water (350-400 ml each). Well I got very sick, as sick as I have ever been. It included, but was not limited too, vomiting, headaches, lots of fever and more!
Where I live now, all water is safe so it is not a problem for me, otherwise I always take water bottles with me.
