Is is just me?

Am I the only one that gets annoyed by this? I'm talking about the people who you see with the one or two line posts that post like multiple discussions in a row on every interest. Just random things. Discussions are fun but some people just make it seem like they are just here for the money. I think the money is nice, but I like discussions with more substance. Am I just being paranoid?

If it is one line and at least somewhat relevant to the discussion I don't mind it so much. Generic one liners like "Thanks for the interesting post" do get on my nerves; that's a good way to start a post, but surely a person who really found a post interesting could think of something else to share. Imagine if everyone on MyLot posted that line to every discussion they read -- pretty soon those posts would predominate! Luckily, I think most of the people who try to make random posts just for the money soon discover they don't get paid unless they actually contribute to the discussions. MyLot actually handles this situation well; it's just that there always new people coming in who are hoping to game the system for quick profits.

I don't mind it gives me something to post on, so I have more things reply to in order to earn money.

For me it depends on the discussion. If it catches my interest I will respond to it. If it doesn't I won't. It doesn't bother me at all for post to be like that. I like more that ones that have some meat to them but the ones that are one or two liners can also be interesting depending on how the one or two line is worded.
