The day you've been waiting for has come. No longer do you need to lay awake nights, anxiously anticipating the unvailing of... THE LEGO GUITAR By way of review, for any of you who missed out on my announcement and update of this project. The east wall of my Guitar Room has been woefully bereft of adornments. After my daugher left for college, it didn't take me long to claim her old room as my Guitar Room and decorate it accordingly. While the other walls quickly took shape, the east wall stood bare... it was a sad sight to behold. A few weeks ago, while down in my basement, I saw the container that holds my slightly more than adequate Lego collection causing the 35 watt idea bulb to flash over my head. So there's the review. The quitar is done and hanging on the wall. No longer does my east wall have to stand naked, while the other walls point and snicker. Who's laugh now!To see my Lego Guitar, click on the image... If you want a photo tour of the whole guitar room, click the link and enjoy... http://parated2k.joeuser.com/article/311256/Legos_Guitars_And_My_Little_Corner_of_the_World

Thank goodness! Now I'll be able to get a decent night's sleep without having images of little men in wooden shoes picking through barrels of orangish brown legos while you dance around a bonfire wildly chanting about guitars and the UPS man. It looks really great and I'm impressed with your lego skills. I love the records behind it. It all looks great...wait, I already said that. All the album covers on the walls are pretty cool. What is that painted on the window though?

Glad I could contribute to your sleep wellness.. and thanks for the orangish brown flashbacks. ;~D As for the paint on the window... remember, this was a teenager's bedroom before it was my Guitar room. The paint says, "J-Rod".. The nickname of my son "Jared". ;~D

LOL...I know all about teenager bedrooms! Mine bedroom used to be my stepson's room so as I drift off to sleep at night I get to stare at black and yellow spray paint flames and his girlfriend's name all over the walls and ceiling.

ParaTed that is awesome. I did not know that Legos curved. I have not made anything using legos in a long time.

Thanks! Actually, legos don't curve, you have to arrange the layers so they appear to curve.

Ted that is an awesome little get-a-way room. I was very impressed with the lego guitar. You should take some pic's and send to the makers of Leg's, never know, you might get a commercial, or feature of some sort out of it. WTG

That room is GREAT!!! And that Lego guitar... WOW!!! I just showed my (soon to be) 9yr old son the pics of your guitar room, and he's envious (he's a massive guitar hero fan you see lol). I have a lot of Lego in my house too. But I don't think I'd ever have the patience to build something like that guitar. I'd be more inclined to draw or paint one on the wall and make a big mural thing. I will say this... you've got me looking forward to my boys leaving the house so I can have an extra "me room" though. (the twins are 7 and the older one will be 9 in a few weeks... so I've got what? Another decade to go?? lmao!
