How much $$$ on mylot?

I worked one day and not really hard and got 65 cents. The next few days I have worked, I felt like harder and didn't get over 30 cents with my one referral's earnings % added. What am I missing? I know you have to start lots of discussions and that you need to post on other discussions. What else do I need to be doing on mylot to reach $1 per day or more? Thanks for your help!

Hi mamacathie, I can see, you have made many posts in MyLot. You have joined MyLot a year but already make such a lot of posts. Well done. MyLot is not describing or explaining explicitly on how they calculate earning for members, but they do calculate each and every activity you made here. I think they don't calculate a post with short message or just for saying thank you. That's what making MyLot is different compare to other forum. They have a great system to monitor our activities here. What we can do, make as many good posts and discussions as possible. Every post and discussion you made and replies will be calculated on your earning. If other members mark your replies with good response, I think it will be calculated as well. If you want to earn higher income, you may join the MK forum. You can find the banner in my profile. They pay the exact amount per post and per thread. I'm not going to tell you how much they pay but it's surprisingly high. Of course, the forum is not a good and stable forum like MyLot. I think it's only owned by individual, but you can try it if you want.

Thanks, I will check out your profile. I agree that there are so many members of mylot and how good their system has to be to be able to keep up with all done on here. Thanks for your posts.

Hi azumarisan, I think so. They may have a system to detect your post or something like that. You can see, if you post a link, your post will disappear. But the posts were not disappear automatically. It stays there for awhile, sometime, can be hours before disappear. It looks like the system detect your link inside your post and alert the team of MyLot so they can confirm whether it should be deleted or not. Their system is good. That's why they don't need to apply penalty like banning members from MyLot like other forum.

65 cents is good already, it is really close to $1 . I get $1 or more sometimes if I spend my day here answering discussions of other mylotters and responding to my own discussions as well. Just enjoy your stay here and you will not notice that you are earning! Goodluck!

Yes it is close to $1. Do you make extra for responding to the posts on your own discussions you've started? Thanks for the help.

Yes, I think so. I always reply to my own discussion and check other discussions that I have replied to.

Ihaven't seen $1 in one day for over a year. I made about 50 cents last night, that was quite a bit to me, but with dial-up it is hard to get much more than that, well without staying on here for hours and hours.

Dial-up really does slow things down, doesn't it? Fifty cents is still good to make in a day. Thanks for the posts.

Sometimes its when you aren't trying to make money that you actually do .. I know, that sounds weird but it is the truth. When I first started I made about $30.00 in the first two months and I was in heaven but then it started to slow down. Just do quality posts, reply to things that interest you and avoid threads and posts that you consider controversial.

I think you are right. No, it doesn't sound weird! I think we seem to do more financially and many other ways when we don't try as hard. Sometimes, trying hard seems to get in our way. Thanks for opening my eyes to that. Thanks for the posts.

One day last week I kept track of how many discussions that I responded to and I had responded to 45 discussions and I think I had received a few comments on a few discussions I had started and I had earned 94 cents. I had also earned 3 cents from referrals that day, so a total of 97 cents for that day. I don't always keep track of how much I post, I just happened to that day. And that was the highest pay in earnings that I have ever received in one day!

OH, Terri, so close to $1! I wish we could figure this out and know what exactly we had to do, but am I understanding this that every page we visit it all adds up, plus the starting and responding to discussions? I hope I'm getting this figured out. Thanks for the posts.

the main thing is hav9ing lengthy post that have some type of structure! that what i think most of the system looks for because they don't want you to just be post random things and its just a bunch of nonsense!

Oh ok, thank you. So what it amounts to is writing a lenghty post to answer any other discussions. Thanks and have a great day.

Hi There, I guess to properly answer this question we need to know what you mean when you say you worked really hard. Did you do a lot of posts? Did you provide quality posts and participate in discussions? I have found the earnings go up with the quality of the responses I make. The better the response...the more it is worth. In the end I find that less actual responses with more insight and discussionf for feedback will get you higher earnings. My two cents anyways... cheers,

Thanks so much. Yes, I think that 65 cent day I started 5 or 6 discussions and then did the rest in posting. That was all I did. Thanks again.
